Grim Abbey Productions is proud to present Lindsey Ferrentino’s Ugly Lies the Bone, a beautiful and moving piece that tells the story of Jess, a veteran who returns home from her third tour in Afghanistan with deep physical and emotional scars to a world that is both too much of the same, and far too different than she remembers. As she struggles to rejoin civilian life in her small hometown, she uses a new VR technology to create a world where she can heal from her wounds, and escape from the pain. In her new world, and the real world, she confronts the past, heals her wounds, and finds a way back to relationships with family and friends.
